Sandoz is the third largest provider in the country and distributes about 296 drugs in the U.S. It is a division of the swiss-led Novartis Group and was established in 2003 when Novartis united all of its generics businesses. Sandoz has 10 manufacturing sites, including Austria and Slovenia.
