Bupropion is the generic form of the brand-name medications Wellbutrin, Zyban, Aplenzin, and Forfivo. It is used to treat depression, anxiety, and to help people stop smoking.

Founded in 1974, Apotex Inc. is Canada’s largest pharmaceutical maker and distributes about 300 drugs in the U.S. Apotex serves 100 countries through its range of product offerings. The number of manufacturing locations was not readily available, but at least some are located in the U.S., Mexico, and India.
